A Better Way is an advocacy group for better development and better investment in St Paul. A Better Way began as an advocacy group for better development on Grand Avenue, and has expanded to encompass development city-wide.
Our current top issue is the Summit Avenue Master Plan. Our goals are to:
- Raise awareness of the project
- Inspire stakeholder participation
- Save trees
- Promote multi-modal use of Summit, most especially pedestrians
- Promote enjoyment & appreciation of Summit Avenue as a unique, historic treasure
“Complementing this architectural legacy, and leading APA to single it out as one of 10 Great Streets for 2008, are the avenue’s marvelous vistas, park-like qualities, and a decades-long history of planning measures, civic participation, and private stewardship that kept Summit’s unique character intact.”
